WANNBORGA VIN & LAMM
( WINE & LAMB )
( WINE & LAMB )
- Situated in the Baltic sea on the island of Öland -
Övra Wannborga, an unspoilt medival village on Öland, is the place for many unique events.
Here in the most northern wine region of the world a wine yard is established since 10 years.
From the grapes growing there we produce both red and white wines and in the distillery we make different kind of brandies and Swedish snaps.
The wine yard and distillery are situated on a big farm with a lot of other activities as lamb production with it’s own butchery. Lamb delicatesses as salami, pates, dried and smoked ham etc can be tasted in the cosy restaurant together with our wine or bought in the farm shop.
You can also stay for many days on the farm. We have three nice cottages with 12 rooms and 24 beds ( B&B).

Distillery
Our distillery is designed to preserve aroma and

make a kind of grappa or marc and from some of
the wine we produce a “cognac type” of Brandy.
